Trance revolves around a motivational speaker Viju, who in his life somehow wants to make it big. In his childhood, Fahadh had a traumatic experience. After that he is an insomniac and his mental health on toil. He is hired to be the face of a religious scam. Solomon Davis and partner Isaac Thomas recruited Viju to play the role of a Christian pastor and perform the hoax miracles. Nevertheless, he is a non-believer and undergoes intensive training in The Testaments verses and hymns. This chance makes him instantly a star. But his years of latent depression sinks him further into obscurity and delusion.
There are a lot of serious moments in the film that could bore you but film manages to keep you hooked until the last. Moreover, Fahadh ‘s excellent acting and background music makes it hit from all directions. In a smart way, film touches upon several deep topics.
