However, in past few years many stand-up comedians have started making their way on YouTube with their relatable content and sarcastic remarks. They received huge love from the audience and it paved way for Stand-up comedy show that can make us laugh even when we don’t want to. Here are few Stand-up Comedy shows you should not miss if you want to laugh till your stomach starts paining.

This show is relatable for every Indian out there. Vir Das is a brilliant comedian and it’s a shame we realized it so late. This show has two sets of audience, New York and Delhi and alters the content suitable to both of them. Above all, His unique and ambitious comedy sets him apart from other comedians. He talks about globalism, good food and bad politics in cleverly way. He not only makes you laugh , his comedy sheds on many topics we need to talk about.

From wearing thongs to sex, she is bluntly honest in a funny way. Her alter ego Dr Mrs Lutchuke takes over the show to make you laugh while saying things you know will make you think hard about.

Carmichael’s calm, relaxed delivery and relatable narrative creates him more of a simple watch than LOL funny. I used to be drawn to is how realistically he talks about growing up being black, and therefore the idea of being a “better black person”. His idea of what a person’s cultural influences are vs what the planet thinks they ought to be will ring true for anyone who thought they “needed” to read certain classics or watch the cinema “greats”.

Marc Maron features a jaded, defeatist vibe about him so endearing you can’t help but love this self-loathing man. While he’s best known for enjoying characters a bit like himself on TV, stand-up comedy truly seems his forte. Watching him sit on stage, and continue about how he’s an “alpha pussy”  in his trademark rambling style goes down a treat.
