Pati Patni Aur Woh – Story

MX Player's Pati Patni Aur Woh

Mohan’s wife Surbhi had an early death. However, even after death, she returns as a spirit who is only visible to Mohan. Her love and concern for her husband make her force him to re-marry immediately. Now, on the same day as her death ceremony, Mohan remarries. But here’s the catch, in order to marry immediately Mohan marries a girl without even seeing her.

On the first night of the marriage, Surbhi decides to wait around and at least look at the new bride’s face. When Mohan finally sees Rimjhim’s face, he is shocked and mesmerized by her beauty. Meanwhile, after seeing Rimjhim’s beauty and Mohan’s reaction, Surbhi gets jealous and decides to stick around. She wants to makes sure that the new couple does not come close to each other.

In the meantime, Rimjhim is like an ideal wife. From taking care of Mohan to helping him with his, Rimjhim proves to be a perfect life partner. However, the dissatisfied and jealous spirit of Surbhi prevents Mohan from coming close to her.

Pati Patni Aur Woh

Pati Patni Aur Woh starts with a great premise however, after three episodes it starts to get a little illogical, and humor factor falls flat on the face. After a while, the drama looks forced and stretched. Even though creators did a great job in keeping the show open for next season, Pati, Patni Aur Who is the kind of ride that feels good at the start but later you just want to get over with it. For instance, few sub-stories could have been avoided. Also,  the characterization could have been better.

Anant Vdihat as Mohan stood up to his reputation and did quite well. Vinny Arora as a jealous and dissatisfied spirit was a treat to the eyes. However, even with this strong cast Riya Sen managed to steal the show. Overall, Pati Patni Aur Woh is a simple weekend watch to get away from lockdown blues and can be enjoyed with family.

What Works-

Cast, visuals.

What Doesn’t works-
