Digital media’s newest heartthrob Parikshit Joshi shows his jolly side on an Instagram live session.
Here’s what the Hum Tum actor talked to us about:
Parikshit, how are you spending your lockdown days?
My days are very random and I do a lot of things in a day. Right now, I have been practicing the keyboard. The rest of the time there is household work to do. Otherwise, tv shows are always there to the rescue.
Which shows are you binging on these days?
I have completed three seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Besides that, I watch the anime series. I feel they are really motivational and feel-good shows out there. Something that is a requirement in the present scenario.
When did you begin your journey?
If we talk about the foundation, it has to be a theatre. I am from Uttarakhand. I have attended the Maharaja Agrasen College, DU. After that, I moved to Bombay and started assisting directors of various web shows on TVF and TSP. We used to do these short listical videos. Further, I started writing shows and directing some myself. I follow the works of Hitchcock, Scorsese, Anurag Kashyap closely.
Subsequently, Hum Tum was being planned. There was a hunt for a suitable boy and I made it. Hence, here you see Parikshit Joshi.
How has your experience been working with Ahsaas Channa in Hum Tum?
It’s always a pleasure working with your friends. Ahsaas and I shared a lot of banter while shooting. Other than that, our director, writer and everyone in the crew was very cooperative. We eventually became a small family.
